Just when you think hope is lost,
it knocks on your front door.

You tried to find it at one time,
searching, from top to bottom...
side to side, yet, lost it remained.

You cried a river, in fear
of your soul being lost
along the way.

Hope...your heart, the soul in every effort,
passion, and all of the above,
lost, diminished, evaporated,
all into thin air.

You then realize what hope is,
and panic sets in.

Why me?

Becomes the question of the day.

Up until you realize
the answer is you.

Then sisters,
that man you loved all along,
and thought you lost,
comes calling..
realizing the mistakes he too has made.

But even then they don't matter.

Leave it in the past,
for hope shall never be lost again.
